Colorful desk! Awesome for an apartment.

Alexander Wang.

Lillian Bassman: Lingerie

I cannot wait to go see Lillian Bassman Lingerie at the Staley-Wise Gallery downtown. Lillian Bassman was a photographer in the 50s and 60s and created images for some iconic ad campaigns, as well as the  intimate black-and-white photographs in the exhibition (and the book). The photographs were nearly lost when she decided to leave the fashion business and stashed away the negatives in her basement. Then, 20 years later the photos were rediscovered and she was persuaded to start shooting again. She started putting the photographs together for a book and was still busy with the photographs until just two months before she passed away in at 94 in February. "Lillian Bassman: Lingerie" will run April 12 through May 26 at the Staley-Wise Gallery in New York City.

Spring Cocktail

It has been absolutely beautiful, warm, and sunny in NYC the past few days. The trees are blooming and everyone seems happier. Perfect for a light and pretty Spring cocktail in the sun ....

I apologize for being M.I.A. this week, but I have been super busy with school and work. I promise next week will be better .... but for now have a wonderful, warm (at least for us here on the East Coast) weekend!

DIY Neon Mouse Pad

I came across this colorful DIY on Because I'm Addicted and felt compelled to share. Such a great and easy idea!

How to: DIY Neon Canvas Mouse Pad
You will need:
Mouse pad
Canvas fabric (we used a tote bag)
Tape
Neon spray paint
Pen
Scissors
Fabric glue
Paper

1. Lay your mouse pad on top of canvas and trace around the edges.

2. Cut out your canvas mouse pad shape and glue it down to the top of your mouse pad. Let dry.

3. Tape a scrap piece of paper diagonally across the canvas mouse pad.

4. Outside or in a well ventilated space spray paint one side of the mouse pad. Let dry and remove tape for an updated office look.
