Bonne Année!!

We arrived in Divonne, France last night after a roadtrip from the Netherlands through Belgium, Germany, France, Germany, Switzerland, and finally back to France. Tomorrow we travel back to Switzerland, but first we celebrate the new year at a friends' in Divonne. I wish everyone a happy, healthy, and joyous 2012!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Here are some cute party ideas if you're looking to do something more than the typical burgers and beers. We'll be having our own party on the roof tonight (very lucky the fireworks are on the Hudson this year), what will you be doing?

I'm loving this inspiration board from Snippet & Ink. Although it's a wedding board it reminds me of any type of east coast summer party .... perhaps Nantucket or the Hamptons? Nautical blue and white, seashells, crab, and sailboats? Count me in!
